http://www.kiddygirl-and.com/ has been updated to confirm the air date for the first episode as the 15th of October 2009.
There is also a finalised logo, which is rather like a blinged out version of the first series logo.
The main staff and cast are also now confirmed along with airtimes for various stations and the name of the OP, "Baby Universe Day" (See translations below as I get them - I'm in work so will take a while).
The database has also been updated with new colour images of the cast and some settings.
The artwork for the first volume of the manga is revealed here.
It will also be streaming on Youtube from the 22/10.

I've re-inserted the katakana for the names along with the direct romaji and summary of what I have so far on the name meanings (still unsure about some of them).
CDJapan and Neowing have added the title to their listings for the OP single, but still nothing on the performer.
Oh, and there's a new Newtype scan about. I think it is from the October's issue. Art by Masashi Wakayama rather than Gotoh or Megumi.

This is totally unconfirmed, but someone on 2ch reckons that the OP will be sung by Aya Uchida and that the ED song title is "The Destiny's Line".

Lantis' site now has details on the OP single:

and a page for the series:

(the ED singles aren't up yet)
Still no information on the artist, and the 2nd track is also still untitled.
There's a mention of her role on newcomer seiyuu Aya Gouda's blog:

First ED single is now listed on Yesasia:

Can anyone possibly shed some light on whether there'll more of the original cast characters (Viola, Cesario, Sinistra, Dextra, ...) will be debuting in this series.
Because it'd be a damn shame if they didn't, seeing as they were excellent.
@Ganth: They aren't on the cast list, so either they aren't appearing, their appearence is meant to be a surprise, or they have extremely minor/cameo appearances only. Either way, we won't know until it happens (or doesn't, as the case may be). The pilot DVD showed those four in jeopardy, and the Fenice fell into a warp gate. If those events are still canon then they could be lost or dead.
BTW, the Neowing and CDJapan links for the ED singles are now live.
There's a 10m advert for the series on the side of the Cinema Sunshine in Ikebukuro:

Also, the November Comp Ace (which should hopefully be with me tomorrow) contains chapter 6.5 "Breaktime GTO" and a colour centrefold to commemorate the anime.
From her badge in episode 7, it looks like トロワジェイン is "Troisienne".
