If you thought Mai had it bad in the last few eps, it's NOTHING to this.
No caps, but I wanted to bash some stuff up before I leave for my Sister's place for a few days.
Nao attacks Takumi in the night but Akira comes to the rescue. By tagging them with a thread she follows them but is interrupted by Midori who holds her off for the others to escape. En route Mai trips and starts angsting (if I understand correctly she blames herself for her mother's death and Takumi's illness - she left him unattended when he was little and he fell in a stream) until Natsuki slaps her round good. Before they can get back on track The Bride turns up to play (not only is she ghostly but her voice is distorted as well), her child fires a beam which hits the school causing mass panic. Natsuki stays to hold her off while Mai heads for Takumi but she vanishes.
With help from Yukino Mai finds Akira and Takumi on the ground, her child under attack by a new assailant - Mikoto who is glowing red and under the control of her talisman. Not realising the danger Takumi is in Mai first attends to Akira, leaving her child open to attack whereupon it is killed by Mikoto, leaving to Takumi's death. He dissolved into the sky and a 2nd pillar raises in the underground cavern. Mai totally flips out at this point, while Mikoto herself is back to oblivious mode and hasn't a clue what she just did. Mai summons Kaggy and lays into her (causing more damage to the scenery in the process. Some of Diana's spores are also fried causing those in the school to see Kaggy in the sky briefly), Mikoto starts off just dodging but a voice from her talisman eggs her on to attack in full bakeneko fury. Natsuki arrives but before she can intervene a new, octopus/orochi-type child takles Kaggy - the new HiME does not look like Shiho though, having long flowing hair and the same sort of uniform skirt as Mai and bearing a bardiche.
Mikoto is still attacking a distracted Mai, but Natsuki intervenes by reminding her how much she loves Mai and shooting Miroku out of her hands. Mai seems to come to her senses but Kaggy does not, firing a blast at Mikoto that she seemingly makes no moves to avoid. All that remains is Miroku, mounds of grey ash and Takumi's pill box. To top it all off it starts to rain and Mai just wanders off mindlessly, eventually running into Reito who looks really evil.

Yukino sending Haruka into another tizzy.. possibly informing her about the HiME?
